Charges laid in connection to assault at convenience store

RCMP east of Edmonton said a man in his 30s had been charged in connection to an assault dating back to Monday afternoon.

Strathcona County RCMP said Chadi Said Temraz, 39, had been charged with a count of aggravated assault in connection to Monday’s incident.

On Monday, May 4, at about 5:15 p.m., officers were called to the 7 Eleven on Cloverbar Road in Sherwood Park after a male youth was allegedly assaulted. The youth was injured in the incident, and was taken to hospital for treatment.

 

On Friday, RCMP confirmed the incident came as a result of a road rage incident.

Temraz has been releaed from custody, and is expected to appear in a Sherwood Park courtroom Wednesday, June 10.
